How it works

After an initial consultation session, during which we will discuss the kind of site you are interested in, the kind of content you would like to include, and perhaps look over current sites you are inspired by, we can then assess how much work the site build will involve, and price it for you accordingly. The basic site, comprising around 6 pages including (for example) biog, CV, news, reviews and a photo gallery, starts from as little as £220 + VAT. A larger site, including video & audio clips on top of the usual content, usually costs around £400 + VAT. All prices include the first 3 months hosting, basic additions and edits, to include newer photos, CV credits, or performance news.

We can also include your showreel on the site, or any short films/video clips you have, and feature them in multiple formats so that many browsers and computers can access your information, or render them as Flash video for easiest navigation. Also, any voice clips or music performances can be included on your site, all of which of course can be recorded and/or edited here at the studio. If you need to sell items through the site, we can even arrange to include a PayPal shopping cart in your package.

We will take from you all material necesaary to construct the site, such as photos for the gallery, biographies or 'about us' info, contact details, video clips, audio clips, and whatever else you might want to include, and build the site around this content, using whatever sites you outlined as inspiring as a basis for the look and design. Once we have a working template with most of the content in place, we will then put it on a testing server so that you view it from the comfort of yor own home and suggest such changes as you think necessary.

Once the site is finished, SonicPond will upload the finished version onto the hosting server and make sure there are no errors or bugs. We will then finalise everything necessary for making the site go live, including redirecting nameservers so that your chosen domain name ("www.example.com") points to the new site, setting up any email addresses you may want ("you@example.com"), and submitting the site and a relevant sitemap to the main search engines, such as Google and Yahoo.
